getting used to a fan, now he can't sleep without it

The guy that I’ve been seeing for a few months now is quite an enigma.

He’s difficult to figure out, and I think that he likes it that way.

I feel like he purposely tries to be mysterious, and, sadly, it works. I never know what he’s thinking or what he’s going to do next. In fact, I never could have anticipated that he would turn into such a prima donna after we made some basic improvements to his living situation. For as long as I had known him, I had suffered through hot and stagnant nights in his bedroom. There was little movement in the air, and the air temperature never seemed to decrease even with the AC running. He had a large standing fan positioned in the room, but I noticed that even this ventilation device was ineffective in his space. I couldn’t understand how a basic fan could be unproductive. The mechanism underlying the ventilation device was extremely simple. I decided one day that I would get to the root of the ventilation problem, if I could. I took a good look at the fan for the first time in three months, and realized why there was such a problem establishing a breeze. The front of the fan was completely blocked with dander and dust. The are produced by the propeller mechanism inside couldn’t escape through the front of the fan to provide a cooling breeze. After I vacuumed out the nasty dirt, the fan works perfectly. Wouldn’t you know, now this mysterious man insists that he can’t sleep at night without a running fan. That was quick.
