I know this is a ridiculous thing to complain about and most people would kill to be in my shoes, however my bestie likes to cook way too much, but he’s a correct master chef and makes the most delicious meals I’ve ever had in my life, every single night! I am harshly spoiled, and I cannot know that I found a guy who is so capable of creating nice cuisine, on top of all his other wonderful skills and qualities… That being said, he needs to tone it down a little bit, because it’s causing our utility bills to skyrocket while in the Summer time

I am harshly spoiled, and I cannot know that I found a guy who is so capable of creating nice cuisine, on top of all his other wonderful skills and qualities… That being said, he needs to tone it down a little bit, because it’s causing our utility bills to skyrocket while in the Summer time. He uses the stovetop for cooking meat and making intricate sauces, which causes the indoor air temperature to increase sharply every night. The control unit is always set to a moderately low temperature and our central cooling unit usually handles these settings legitimately well; but, when the living room hastily heats up the house, our air conditioner has a taxing time bringing the entire house back down to the correct temperature. I can hear the AC chugging along at full capacity for hours after my good friend and I eat lunch, and the house takes a long time to obtain the correct air quality again, and periodically it isn’t even back to the desired 77 degrees by the time my good friend and I kneel down for bed at night, and I worry that we’re wearing out our AC unit prematurely, then our utility bills have been steadily decreasing along with the outdoor air temperature, and I can’t afford to keep battling the Summer temperatures combined with the extreme living room conditions much longer!
