I know this is a crazy thing to complain about and most people would kill to be in my shoes, however my wifey enjoys to cook way too much, however he’s a official master chef and makes the most delicious meals I’ve ever had in my life, every single evening… I am extremely spoiled, and I cannot think that I found a guy who is so capable of creating fantastic cuisine, on top of all his other fantastic skills and qualities.
That being said, he needs to tone it down a little bit, because it’s causing our energy bills to skyrocket during the summer time time.
He uses the stovetop for cooking meat and making intricate sauces, which causes the indoor air temperature to increase sharply every evening. The thermostat is always set to a moderately low temperature and our central cooling component usually handles these settings absolutely well; however, when the entryway suddenly heats up the house, our cooling system has a taxing time bringing the entire dwelling back down to the official temperature. I can hear the A/C chugging along at full capacity for hours after we eat dinner, and the dwelling takes a long time to obtain the official air quality again, then sporadically it isn’t even back to the desired 70 degrees by the time we lay down for bed at evening, and I worry that we’re wearing out our A/C component prematurely. Our energy bills have been steadily increasing along with the outdoor air temperature, and I can’t afford to keep battling the summer time rapidly changing temperatures combined with the severe entryway conditions much longer!
