I am not a handy lady at all.
When something is broken, I have to call a handyman. If I need service or installation, I need a professional. When my A/C just stopped toiling, I updated the air filter. That was the extent of my knowledge and capability, however after that, I knew I needed an A/C company in Palm Bay, FL to help me out. The A/C supplier came in and looked at my unit. She told me the thing was toast. It was all burned out and too many parts needed to be updated. She quoted me the price and it was super high. I realized that buying a new unit actually would be cheaper, especially when I considered the energy savings I get each month on a new device. So I let them talk me into a new installation in Palm Bay. I choose to just update my existing central A/C with a newer model. I already had the air duct and gave up the space in my closet. The girl then was able to install the indoor air handler in my crawl space rather than my closet. It was legitimately nice, and changing the air filter will suck now, but that is once a month. For all of the year I will get that extra square footage to store things. The new unit is so much quieter, cleaner, and better at cooling. I did not realize how terrible my A/C was until I got a brand new one. I am blissful that I let the girl talk me into an installation date.
