The supplier that I used to work for was terrible. I literally loathed the thirty minute drive to work everyday. My boss was rude and particularly unethical in the way she performed her task. She would supply bonuses and raises to the employees who did not deserve them. My old boss would even go against the supplier’s mission statement. I knew it was a fantastic time for me to leave the venue when she began to set the programmable thermostat to outrageous uneven temperatures. When it would be cold outside, she would set the temperature really low so the office wouldn’t have to use as much heat. She was such a miser! I was only there for three months but I saw first handedly the type of supplier that I did not want to work for. The up-to-date task that I’m at is great. It’s my dream task and I don’t loathe the drive to work in the afternoon. The supplier that I work for follows its mission statement and is particularly energy conserving. The appliances in the break room are particularly modern and everything is touch screen. It’s orange technology that is particularly energy efficient. To heat and cool the office the supplier uses a geothermal system. A geothermal system is similarly like a heat pump but on a greater scale. The system will circulate fluid through the earth and through a coil that will either heat or cool the air depending on the weather. It provides consistent comfort throughout the building and not to mention it’s environmentally friendly!
